At Branyan Clinic we aim to provide the best possible care in a friendly, efficient environment. We are now open to accept new patients to the clinic. We are mixed billing practice and offer bulk billing to those with concession cards and children under 16.
The clinic officially opened in 2011 and offers a full range of General Practice services, with an emphasis on chronic disease management and preventative health care. There is also a strong focus for teaching, with the clinic hosting medical students from JCU and the university of QLD. Nursing students also attend placements from CQU and Wide Bay Tafe.
Over the past 12 months we have been joined by several established GPs who have relocated from the UK and Ireland. There are now a total of 6 full time GPs and 1 additional part time. We are also joined by GP registrars for their further specialty training. Within the clinic building there are a team of allied health professionals who work alongside our GPs including specialist physiotherapists, dietician, psychologists, heart and lung rehabilitation, and specialist diabetes services.
